Doug McClemont \u00e9 escritor, curador, cr\u00edtico de arte e correspondente em NY da Saatchi Online’s magazine<\/a>. No top 10 de janeiro<\/a> ele selecionou a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o Law of The Jungle, que tem curadoria do Tiago Carneiro da Cunha e que est\u00e1 l\u00e1 na Lehmann Maupin Gallery<\/a> at\u00e9 29 de janeiro.<\/p>\n

Curated by Brazilian artist Tiago Carneiro da Cunha, this large group show includes solid work by some artists who seldom exhibit in New York. Broadly based on the notion of survival, the exhibition features several clunkers, but is redeemed by, among other works a compelling oil landscape by Adriana Varejao and a new wall sculpture by old timer Ashley Bickerton. Theater queen Robert Wilson collaborates with his longtime muse, autistic artist Christopher Knowles to contribute a creepy, cage-like wooden room-within-a-room that boasts numerous paintings of clocks.<\/div>\n
